The Sidebar is a side portion of the web page layout where you can link to the categories, the archive , the most popular posts or latest blog comments, advertising etc.. The contents of the sidebar can be customized in WordPress over the widget function ( Appearance / Widgets) .
In addition to WordPress posts, there is also the possibility to create pages . All pages are displayed by default in the main navigation menu. Through the page attributes you can define the page layout (template) if available in your theme. In settings / reading you can define the landing page.
To ach post can assign one or several tags . In this way you can sort items further and assign specific topics. Tags are optional unlike the categories. For this glossary I had to use tags in my posts to show the index of all the WordPress terms.
Posts or pages are automatically stored. So you can restore a post draft if you had problems with your Internet connection. The revisions can be selected via a separate field in the publish area of the post.

The media library is the area in the WordPress Admin , where all the uploaded media files (images in .jpg or .png format, videos, audio files,PDF’s, or documents) are displayed and where you can edit them or make the upload.
